Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Photographs by Michael Stanislaw; backstage photos and other memorabilia
When I was fortunate enough to play the wonderful but exhausting role of Martha in Edward Albee's dark comedy-drama, in April/May 2009, at the Sewell Barn Theatre in Norwich, I wanted to have for myself, and to make available for other members of the cast and crew, a scrapbook of memories.
Michael had taken superb photographs during two of our dress rehearsals, and kindly gave me permission to use them to make up the bulk of this book. It concludes with a selection of early rehearsal and backstage photos, copies of local press reviews, and other images to remind us of a marvellous theatrical experience.
The £3 commission charged on each copy of this book goes to Michael for use of his photography.
The book contains 68 sides of full colour photographs, in 10" x 8" landscape format. The prices are as follows:
- softcover £15.95
- hardcover (dustjacket) £20.95
- hardcover (imagewrap) £22.95
All costs include the £3 photographer's commission mentioned above, and delivery will be charged in addition.
If you would like to order a copy, please contact me. I hope to put a direct link on this site before long, but need to obtain permission from those people featured in the book before I do so.
